Sarawak has over 300 rural schools deep in its rainforest. Most of the rural schools are situated either along rivers or nestled in the mountainous regions of rural Sarawak. For over half a century, these schools have relied on diesel generators to power the facilities for both students and teachers. Sarawak remains the last of the states in Malaysia, that have not substituted its diesel generators with solar generation.

 Total Connected LoadTotal Connected Load is the total amount of electricity being used within the survey area at a single time. Data is gathered by identifying the number of electrical appliances of each building. This will determine the right solar solution needed for the school.

 Drone SurveyAerial Mapping conducted on the school to extract topography data for the planning of the Solar Sites.

 ConnectivityThis is to identify which telco service is available at this rural school.
